1 Hurt In Crash On Sunrise Highway In East Patchogue: Police
The 37-year-old Bellport woman was taken to NYU Langone-Suffolk in East Patchogue with non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Sunrise Highway in East Patchogue on Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
A 37-year-old Bellport woman was traveling westbound in the right lane of Route 27 in Bellport in a 2003 Ford sedan, when it collided with a 2009 Mercedes-Benz sedan, as it merged into traffic from the on-ramp on Sunrise Highway at Sills Road at around 8:40 a.m., according to police.
The Bellport woman was taken to NYU Langone-Suffolk in East Patchogue with non-life-threatening injuries, police said, adding that the driver of the Mercedes, an 18-year-old Medford woman, was not hurt in the crash.
