1 Man Shot, Another Punched In Face In Patchogue

The incidents occurred over the weekend. One arrest was made.

One man was shot and another was punched in the face in Patchogue over the weekend, Suffolk Police say.

The shooting occurred at 90 Maple Ave. at about 11:45 p.m. last Friday. Police say a man was shot in the torso. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call Fifth Squad detectives at 631-854-8552. No arrests have been made.

On Saturday, around 11:15 p.m., police say 25-year-old Brandon Piscak punched a 40-year-old man in the face on West Avenue. Piscak was arrested and charged with third degree assault.
