19-Year-Old Man Sold Drugs Near Suffolk County Elementary School: Police
He lives less than 250 feet from an elementary school, police say.

A 19-year-old Patchogue man faces numerous felony drug charges after police executed a search warrant Friday morning at his home less than 250 feet from the Canaan Elementary School, police said.
Suffolk County Police Narcotics Squad and Fifth Precinct Special Operation Team (SOT) detectives executed the warrant at 14 Holbrook Street and arrested Tristan Corwin around 7:45 a.m., police said.

In response to numerous complaints of drug dealing at the home and with the assistance of information developed from several tips to the department’s new narcotics hotline, 631-852-NARC, a Suffolk Police undercover narcotics detective purchased oxycodone from Corwin on four separate occasions at Corwin's house, police said.

- 30 amphetamine and dextroamphetamine pills (Aderall)– a Schedule II narcotic drug
- 20 grams of Marijuana
- $750 cash
- Scales
- Drug paraphernalia
- Cellphones
- Heat sealer
- Imitation pistol
Corwin is charged wth four counts of third degree criminal sale of controlled substance, four counts of third degree criminal sale of controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Corwin is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday.
