2 Hurt In 2-Vehicle Crash In Mount Sinai On Saturday: Police

They were taken to Stony Brook Hospital Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.

MOUNT SINAI, NY — Two-people were hurt in a two-person crash at the intersection of County Road 83 and Mt Sinai-Coram Road in Mt. Sinai on Saturday, Suffolk police said.

A 2005 Dodge driven by a 63-year-old Smithtown man, who was alone in the vehicle, collided with a 2022 Nissan driven by a 46-year-old Yaphank woman collided at around 7 p.m., according to police.

The woman, and a man inside her vehicle, were taken to Stony Brook Hospital Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
