2 Hurt After SUV Veers Off Road And Sideswipes 2 Others In Patchogue: Police

It happened at around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Suffolk police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — Two people were hurt after a SUV veered off the roadway and sideswiped two other vehicles in Patchogue on Tuesday night, Suffolk police said.

A 20-year-old West Babylon man was driving a 2012 Honda SUV westbound on Baker Street, just east of South Ocean Avenue in Patchogue, when it veered off the roadway and side-swiped two unoccupied parked vehicles, according to police.

Two passengers in the Honda were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said, adding that the driver was not hurt in the crash.
