3 People, Including Pedestrian, Hurt In Separate Crashes In North Bellport: Police

They were all treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Suffolk police say.

NORTH BELLPORT, NY — Three people, including a pedestrian, were taken to the hospital after separate crashes in North Bellport on Wednesday, Suffolk police said.

The driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian and a parked vehicle on Montauk Highway at around 11:40 a.m., according to police.

Both people were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue, police said.

Later in the day, at around 5 p.m., officers responded to another crash in the hamlet that left one person hurt, police said.

A Porshe was traveling southbound on Station Road and collided with a 2005 Chevrolet traveling westbound on Hampton Avenue, police said, adding that a passenger in the Porshe was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
