4 Busted For E-Liquid Nicotine Sales To Minors In Patchogue Area: Police
The Patchogue-based 5th Precinct's Crime Section was prompted to investigate by community complaints, Suffolk police said.
PATCHOGUE, NY — Four people were slapped with a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully dealing with a child after selling e-liquid nicotine to minors at businesses throughout the Patchogue-based 5th Precinct on Monday, Suffolk police said.
The charges stemmed from a Crime Section investigation into retail e-liquid nicotine sales to minors during which numerous businesses were checked for compliance, according to police. The investigation was prompted by community complaints, police said.
The four charged include:

- A 21-year-old from East Islip who is employed at Mo’s Smoke Shop on Bernice Drive in Bayport.
- A 45-year-old Shirley man employed at Smoke and Convenience in Oakdale.
- A 27-year-old from Holbrook who is employed at D&B Beer and Vape Shop on Sunrise Highway in Bohemia.
- A 28-year-old from Brooklyn who is employed at Pops Smoke Shop on Montauk Highway in Bellport.
The people were issued Field Appearance Tickets returnable to First District Court in Central Islip on May 12.
