UPDATE: Police ID Woman Struck by Pickup Truck in Patchogue
Woman in critical condition following crash Friday morning.

A 71-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a pickup truck in Patchogue Friday morning, police said.
The accident occurred at the intersection of South Ocean Avenue and Main Street at about 11:35 a.m.
According to police, Carole Mignone, of Islip Terrace, was walking on Main Street when she was struck by 2005 Toyota pickup truck, which had been heading westbound on Main Street and was attempting to make a left turn onto South Ocean.

Mignone is being treated at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she is in critical, but stable condition. The driver of the pickup truck, 38-year-old Abel Ramos, of Riverhead, stayed at the scene and was not injured, police said.
The Toyota was impounded for a safety check. No criminal charges have been filed.
