PATCHOGUE, NY — In a perfect precursor to Halloween, a selection of some of Long Island’s most curious vendors will be taking over a village walkway for a night of shopping mixed in with a little bit of the Green Fairy — snacks are included, too.

Ratgrrl’s Vendor Circus will host the showcase on Roe Walkway in Patchogue on Saturday starting at 3 p.m. Featured vendors will include Sea of Visibility, Hardtack Arts, Set2Rize Images, Fantasy Art by Michael, Underpaid Clothing, Fire and Bloodstone Magickal Supply Shoppe, Boho Art Shed, Jenner, Michael Mastermaker, and Barna Bee Honey.

Later in the evening, the Patchogue Arts Council will host “Absinthe Minded Friends,” which is billed as a unique Halloween experience with the famed Green Fairy,” according to a promotion. During the $20-a-head event, ticket holders will still be able to shop but in a special immersive atmosphere, the black and white silent classic film, “Nosferatu,” including a score by The Conversation, will be screened, the promotion states.
