'Alive On The River' Set To Host Reggae Party In Patchogue

PATCHOGUE, NY — Start your August off with a fun night of reggae music, dancing and good food as "Alive On The River" hosts its "Reggae Sun Splash" event in Patchogue on Thursday. Reggae musician Winston Ire is set to perform his jamming ways all night long, and party-goers will also have the opportunity to win prizes throughout the evening.

Local restaurants are getting into the action to, as people can head to any participating riverfront restaurant for only $10 on a Fire Island Water Taxi. Select between the Oar Steak & Seafood Grill, Off Key Tiki, Drift 82, Dublin Deck Tiki Bar and Grill and Harbor Crab.

The evening kicks off at 5 p.m., and $5 Red Stripe beers and rum specials will also be provided. The driving service Late Night Chauffeurs will be available at the end of the night to take people home safely.
