American Idol’s Christian Guardino To Appear On Long Island Friday
The top 7 contender on American Idol's 20th season has been traveling the U.S. sharing his inspiring story about overcoming blindness.

PATCHOGUE, NY — American Idol contestant Christian Guardino is set to take the stage this weekend in his hometown of Patchogue.
The 21-year-old singing/songwriting sensation, who made it to the final Top 7 on American Idol’s 20th season,will make his highly-anticipated homecoming performance at Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Friday at 8 p.m.
Guardino has also received Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer on America’s Got Talent and won Amateur Night at The Apollo, as well as appeared on Fox’s Showtime at The Apollo with host Steve Harvey. Since Idol, Guardino has been performing all over the country and sharing his story of defying blindness after his then-experimental gene therapy. He has also been busy in the studio recording original music.

Tickets run $39 to $59, including fees, and $50 for the pre-show meet-and-greet. The pre-show meet-and-greet includes a one-on-one photo and an 11 x 17 photo commemorating his hometown performance.
