EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A man reported that he was carjacked outside of a convenience store in East Patchogue early Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
He called 911 at around 12:30 a.m. to report his 2012 Ford SUV was stolen from the parking lot at Bolla Market by another man using a knife, according to police.
He could not provide any specific details regarding the incident and officers could not confirm that a weapon was used, police said.
He was not hurt in the incident, according to police.
The crime has been classified larceny, police said.
