EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A crash seriously hurt a motorcyclist Saturday morning in East Patchogue, Suffolk police said.
The motorcyclist was riding a 2025 Jiajue 150cc motorcycle, and was traveling northbound out of his driveway, which is located on Oak Street, when he tried to make a left turn, and the motorcycle collided with an eastbound 2012 Nissan Maxima, driven by a woman at around 10:15 a.m., according to police.
The motorcyclist, a 24-year-old from Patchogue, was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

The woman, a 44-year-old from Bellport, was not hurt, according to police.
The Nissan and the motorcycle were impounded for safety checks, police said.
