RIVERSIDE, NY — A Bellport woman admitted to sex trafficking on Wednesday in connection with arranging for a 14-year-old girl — found on a yacht after being missing for 25 days — to have sex with a man in exchange for drugs, Newsday reported.
Fifty-two-year-old Jacquelyn Comiskey pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a child, promoting prostitution, and endangering the welfare of a child in the case of the girl, who prosecutors have said was repeatedly raped and trafficked while she was missing, according to the outlet.
In accordance with her plea, she is expected to be sentenced on Oct. 1 to 12 years in prison with 20 years post-release supervision and waiving her right to appeal, the outlet reported.
Patch has reached out to her attorney, Michael Elbert of Melville, for comment.
