• Mastic Beach Man Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Another Man During Argument (longisland.com) — A man was seriously injured in a stabbing in Shirley and rushed by private vehicle to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue for treatment. Suffolk County Police arrested a 25-year-old Mastic Beach resident and charged him with first-degree assault, while detectives continue investigating and ask anyone with information to contact the Seventh Squad or Crime Stoppers.
