PATCHOGUE, NY — Internationally acclaimed actress Isabella Rossellini will host the films of her father, Roberto Rossellini, exploring the legacy of St. Francis on Oct. 3 at the Plaza MAC in Patchogue.
The day-long series will celebrate the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi, a spiritual leader famously known as a patron of animals and the environment.
The event, which is part of the Rossellini on Rossellini: Faith in Film series, will begin with a double feature 1 p.m. The last film will be shown at 7:30 p.m. with Isabella Rossellini hosting a discussion at the conclusion.
The films scheduled to be screened include "The Miracle," "Flowers of St. Francis," and "Europe '51."
