• Indie Label Finds New Groove in Patchogue (southshorepress.com) — A Patchogue-based indie record label, 401K Music, is teaming up with local staple Record Stop for an exclusive limited-edition vinyl release tied directly to the village's music scene. After relocating from New York City, founder Veronica Gretton says Patchogue's growing arts community inspired the project, which will spotlight emerging indie bands and strengthen the village's role as a hub for live music and vinyl culture.
   

• Man recorded stealing boxing gloves and tote bags from Patchogue Dick's, cops say (greaterlongisland.com) — Police are asking Patchogue-area residents to help identify a man recorded stealing about $255 in boxing gloves and tote bags from Dick's Sporting Goods on Sunrise Service Road. Surveillance images show the suspect, a woman companion, and a possible young accomplice, and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for tips leading to an arrest.
