RONKONKOMA, NY — TRITEC Real Estate Company, Northwell Health, elected officials, and regional business leaders are expected to gather Tuesday to celebrate the groundbreaking of the next phase of Station Yards, continuing to transform downtown Ronkonkoma, officials said.
The $175 million mixed-use project will introduce 285 apartment homes across three new residential buildings and 30,000 square feet of medical office space anchored by Northwell Health, according to officials.
The new healthcare facility is expected to expand access to medical services, support continued economic growth in the region, and generate daytime activity that will further strengthen Station Yards' growing retail and restaurant community, officials said.
Phase 2C represents the fourth phase of the broader $1.3 billion Station Yards development, Long Island's largest transit-oriented development and one of the state's most significant mixed-use redevelopment projects.
The event will include Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine, Sarah Lansdale, the county's Commissioner of Economic Development and Planning, Lisa Mulligan, Chief Executive Officer of Brookhaven's Industrial Development Agency, and Stephen Bello, executive vice president and president of Northwell Health's eastern market.
It will also include Chris Coluccio, president of MacArthur Business Alliance, Kelley Heck and Jimmy Coughlan, co-presidents of TRITEC Real Estate Company.
It will kick off at 10 a.m. at the Carroll Avenue development site.
