Arson Detectives Probing 2 Fires That Broke Out Over A Matter Of Days In Brookhaven Town: Police
One started in a home, the other a business, Suffolk police say.
BROOKHAVEN TOWN, NY — Arson Squad investigators are probing two unrelated fires, including one at a home, the other at a business, which broke out in Brookhaven Town since Saturday, Suffolk police said.
In the first incident, the fire started at a home on Bayview Avenue in East Patchogue at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to police.
The second fire started in a storage closet in a commercial building on Middle Country Road in Middle Island just before midnight on Tuesday, police said.

No one was hurt in either fire.
