The Beach Boys' Al Jardine To Play LI With Carnie & Wendy Wilson

PATCHOGUE, NY — The Beach Boys' co-founding member Al Jardine will play the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, along with Wilson Philips' Carnie and Wendy Wilson, and his son, Matt Jardine, as part of the Family and Friends Tour on Friday.

The show will begin at 8 p.m.

Jardine will be joined on stage by the Wilsons, daughters of Brian Wilson, who co-founded The Beach Boys with Jardine and wrote many of the group’s iconic hits, as well as well as Jardine's son, Matt Jardine, who has toured for many years with both The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson, according to the theatre.

The musicians will play the legendary hits of The Beach Boys, including “Help me, Rhonda,” “California Girls,” “I Get Around,” “God Only Knows,” and “Good Vibrations” to name a few. The show will also feature songs by Wilson Phillips, including 90s hits like “Hold On,” “The Dream is Still Alive,” “You’re In Love,” “Impulsive,” and “Release Me."

Matt Jardine has received "rave reviews from both fans and critics for his stunning lead vocals" on songs like “God Only Knows,” “Don't Worry Baby,” and “Surf's Up,” according to a news release from the theatre. The eight-member tour band will be led by Wilson Phillips’ musical director Rob Bonfiglio, who performs regularly in Brian Wilson's band, theatre reps said.
