Bellport Man Kept 2 Dogs Outside With No Food, Water: SPCA
The 22-year-old was charged after his two pit bulls were found outside in a kennel with no food or water, the SPCA says.

BELLPORT, NY - A Bellport man was charged on Friday for allegedly leaving two of his pit bulls without food or water at his family's home in Mastic Beach, according to the Suffolk County SPCA.
Ra Quan Wessley, 22, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty at his families home for failing to provide proper sustenance for his two young male dogs, according to the SPCA.
Both dogs were found outside in a dirt filled metal fenced kennel without food or water. The dog's ribs and spine were visible to a point of emaciation, the SPCA said. A third dog was inside Wessley's Bellport home.

All three dogs were transported to the Brookhaven Shelter.
Wesley is scheduled to appear in First District Court on January, 24, 2020.
