Benefit Concert to Aid Fight Against Heroin Thursday

Billy Joel and Led Zeppelin tribute bands will perform at concert to raise money for Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.

Come rock out for a good cause to Mike DelGuidice, Billy Joel band member and frontman of Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot - Celebrating the music of Billy Joel, and Zofolk, a Led Zeppelin tribute band, on Thursday, July 28 at The Emporium in Patchogue.

The concert will benefit Suffolk County Crime Stoppers, a nonprofit that partners with the SCPD to offer rewards of up to $5,000 for anonymous information that leads to an arrest.

In 2015, tips to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers resulted in 125 arrests and more than $30,000 in reward money paid out. Since 852-NARC hotline opened in March 2016, more than 830 anonymous calls have been logged.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased through Pat Fazio at 631-365-1490 or commfazio@gmail.com. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. The Emporium is located at 9 Railroad Avenue.
