Blood Drive Planned In Suffolk
The event is organized by the Ancient Order of Hibernians Div. 5 Suffolk County to benefit New York Blood Center.
PATCHOGUE, NY — The Ancient Order of Hibernians' Division 5 of Suffolk County will host a blood drive at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Patchogue on Jan. 29.
The blood drive will be held inside the church's parish center at 495 North Ocean Ave. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The drive will benefit the New York Blood Center, which is encouraging donations in honor of January as National Blood Donor Month.

Organizers ask that donors remember to eat and drink properly before their appointments, as well as bring identification. Mask guidelines may change, so organizers are asking that donors also check the Centers for Disease Control guidelines beforehand. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins will be welcome.
