Bloods Gang Member Enters Guilty Plea Related To LI Shooting: DA
A 24-year-old pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a 2020 shooting at a Long Island bar.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A 24-year-old Bloods gang member from Central Islip pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a 2020 shooting at an East Patchogue bar, Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy Sini said Wednesday.
Pamphile was at Buen Ambiente on Main Street in East Patchogue, when he got into a fight with several other patrons on Oct. 24, 2020, said prosecutors, adding, that he left the bar and took a .40-caliber handgun from the trunk of a white sedan in the parking lot.
At about 1:30 a.m., Pamphile “fired several shots from the parking lot toward the back door of the bar, striking two bystanders,” according to prosecutors.

One person was shot twice in his legs and was transported to Long Island Community Hospital for treatment of “serious injuries,” and another victim, who was struck once in the leg, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for “treatment of non-life-threatening injuries,” prosecutors said.

After an investigation by the DA’s Office of Enhanced Prosecution Bureau and the county police department’s 5th Squad, Pamphile “was identified as the shooter” and was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service on Nov. 24, 2020, Sini’s office said.
“This incident began with a bar fight that quickly escalated to a life-threatening situation when the defendant opened fire on patrons exiting the establishment,” Sini said. “Law enforcement worked tirelessly to identify and locate this individual, and to ensure he was held accountable for his reckless, dangerous actions.”
“We have zero tolerance for gun violence, particularly at the hands of gang members, and will continue to target the criminals driving these crimes in our community,” he said.
His attorney, George Duncan of Central Islip, declined comment, saying that it is unethical to comment on an open case in which the defendant has not been sentenced.
Pamphile will be sentenced by Acting Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Richard Horowitz on Nov. 3. He faces a sentence of eight years in prison and five years of post-release supervision, according to his plea agreement, Sini’s office said.
