Blue Point Brewery's New 'Delayed' Beer To Be Served At Penn Station

Be one of the first people to buy a can at a release party at Shake Shack next Monday and get a free burger.

Blue Point Brewery says it has brewed the ultimate beer to get you through the Summer of Hell. Delayed is the name of the beer (of course) and it will be sold only at Penn Station.

The pilsner beer will debut at the Shake Shack inside Penn next Monday, Aug. 14. A release party (see the Facebook event here) will be held at the Shack from 4-8 p.m.

The first 100 people to the party will receive a complimentary burger with the purchase of a can of Delayed.

“Myself, our brewers and our employees have spent a lot of time ‘delayed’ in Penn Station waiting for the train back to Long Island, albeit with a beer happily in hand,” Blue Point president Todd Ahsmann said. “Since the delays are expected to increase during construction, we figured we would brew a beer perfect for that extended wait.”
