BROOKHAVEN, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. One of their available pets is Hagrid, a 3 to 5-year-old male mixed breed.

Here's a full description of Hagrid from the Brookhaven Animal Shelter page:

Hagrid was picked up stray by an Animal Control Officer, he was waited and waited for his family to come in and find him but sadly that has not happened. He is hoping to find the love of his life, someone who he can share his world with, cuddle up with and be completely loyal to. Hagrid is going to be an amazing best friend to a lucky family. He is sweet, energetic and loves to go out for walks with you. Hagrid is 76 pounds, estimated to be three to five years young, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped and heartworm negative. This guy will steal your heart.
