Brookhaven Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Kanye

BROOKHAVEN, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

One of their available pets is Kanye, a 6-year-old male mixed breed.

Meet Kanye! This very sweet guy was originally picked up stray by an Animal Control Officer back in 2019. He was adopted from us but sadly his family was no longer able to care for him. He is a bit shy at the shelter but his previous family stated that at home is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is currently looking for love and hoping for a happy life the second time around. Kanye is a gentle guy he just asks for the basics...a loving home, a bed to curl up in, a human to spend his days and nights with and for the next home to be the forever home of his dreams. He previously lived with children and cats and has done well with little dogs at the shelter. We will gladly test her with larger dogs if you are interested. He is 38 pounds, estimated to be about 6 years young, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative.
