Brookhaven Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Nash
Looking to adopt a new furry friend? Here's Nash, this week's featured pet available at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter.

BROOKHAVEN, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.
One of their available pets is Nash, an adult male mixed breed.
Here's a full description of Nash from the Brookhaven Animal Shelter page:
Meet Nash! This delightful guy arrived back in 2019 after being picked up stray by an Animal Control Officer. He had been adopted but sadly and through no fault of his own his family was no longer able to care for him. They are relocating across the county and he isn’t able to go with them. So here he is waiting for the second chance that he deserves. Nash gets super happy when he knows you are coming to take him outside for play time. He is energetic, outgoing and tons of fun, he loves to play with toys and he is always up for a good game of fetch. Nash’s favorite place is to be right next to you. According to his previous family he is housebroken, crate trained, knows sit and come and he used to go to Doggie Day care and he rocked it. He has done very well here at the shelter with dogs and cats and will need to go home with another dog. Nash is 73 pounds, three to five years young, up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative.
