Brookhaven Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Sunny

BROOKHAVEN, NY - If you're looking for a new companion, consider starting your search at a local animal shelter like the Brookhaven Animal Shelter. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, many pets are still looking for their forever homes and shelters are still working to fulfill adoptions.

This beauty is Sunny! She was picked up stray by an Animal Control Officer and has been patiently waiting for her family to come in and find her. Sadly that never happened and she is currently homeless and hopeful. Sunny is looking for a family to love, a place to call home and bed of her own. She is quite the looker and sweet as could be, those eyes will melt you and you can’t overlook those ears. She loves to cuddle, is eager to please and just wants to be your everything. Sunny will do best as the only pet in an adult household. Sunny is super playful and she knows sit, down, paw and she takes treats very gently. She is estimated to be four to six years young, 79 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and heart-worm negative.
