CityMD, the leading urgent care provider in the New York metropolitan area, today announced the opening of a new site located at 129 Sunrise Highway in Patchogue.

Conveniently located on Sunrise Highway and with plenty of parking, the Patchogue site in the 19th CityMD in Suffolk County and the 34th location on Long Island. As with all CityMD's, the new facility does not require an appointment, will be open 365 days a year, features board-certified emergency train physicians and accepts most insurance.

"This location shows our continued dedication to expanding accessible urgent care in Suffolk County, and with the uptick in Delta Variant cases across NY, we are pleased to be an added resource for COVID-19 testing. The Patchogue CityMD offers Rapid testing, PCR testing, and Antibody Testing, along with standard urgent care services for injuries, illnesses, and more."

Due to the increased COVID-19 testing demand and to ensure a good patient experience, the Patchogue location offers a Virtual Line, which eliminated the need to wait in a physical line outside the facility.

Patients of all ages visit CityMD for many reasons, including treatment for upper respiratory infections, colds and flu, asthma, allergies, minor lacerations, sore throats, insect bites and rashes, among other conditions. On-site doctors can diagnose and treat pink eye, croup, minor orthopedic injuries, and nosebleeds. Rapid testing for flu, strep throat, mononucleosis, UTIs and other conditions are also among available services.

CityMD will support the medical needs of families in Patchogue and nearby communities with convenient weekday and weekend hours, as well as self-check-in kiosks. The new location also has on-site state-of-the-art technology, which include X-ray and EKG machinery.
