Join us for one of our most loved family nights — a magical evening all about owls! We’ll begin with a fun and fascinating presentation led by local wildlife rehabilitator Jim MacDougal, who will introduce you to two of his incredible feathered companions: a Eurasian Eagle Owl and a Spectacled Owl. You’ll get to see these magnificent birds up close while learning about their behaviors, adaptations, and the vital role owls play in our ecosystem.
After the presentation, we’ll head out onto CEED’s trails for a guided night walk to listen for local owls and other nocturnal wildlife stirring in the dark. Dress warmly, wear sturdy shoes, and come ready for a cozy evening connecting with nature, community, and the wild wonders of the night.
