Car Crash Brings Down Pole, Closes Part of Route 112 In Coram
The crash had the road closed from about 10:25 a.m. to just after 2 p.m., Suffolk police said.
CORAM, NY — Part of Route 112 in Coram was closed down for much of Wednesday while workers from PSEG fixed a broken utility pole following a car crash, Suffolk police said.
At least two cars collided on Route 112 causing one to turn over on its side at about 10:25 a.m., according to police. It’s not clear if there was another car involved, but the crash "brought down a pole and the road was closed until 2:10 p.m. due to PSEG work," police said. No one was seriously injured in the crash.
