Centereach Man Arrested Six Years After Wife's Murder: Police
Suffolk County police have made an arrest after a woman's body was found near her North Patchogue home in 2010.
NORTH PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - Police have arrested a Centereach man in connection with the murder of his wife in 2010.
Joseph T. Jones, 33, of Centereach was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree murder. Nicole Tessa, 31, was found in the woods near her home in North Patchogue in December 2010, just two days after her family reported her missing.
A canine officer and his dog found Tessa's body after searching a wooded area near her home.

Jones is scheduled to be arraigned March 7.
