Cleaning Company Finds Grenade In Patchogue Home
BREAKING: The company was cleaning out a home on West Avenue when an employee found a grenade and called 911 Tuesday morning.
PATCHOGUE, NY - Suffolk Police responded to a Patchogue home after a cleaning company found a grenade Tuesday morning.
The company was cleaning out a home on West Avenue when an employee found a grenade and called 911 at 10:25 a.m., police said.
Police responded and Emergency Service Section officers removed the grenade for future disposal.

The grenade was being treated as a live grenade.
No injuries were reported. No arrests were made.

According to a post on the Patchogue Village Facebook page, the Village has "taken action in order to condemn the property and remove the occupant."
