DAR Colonel Josiah Smith Outstanding Junior Heidi Nathan-Barry

Legislator Robert Calarco presents DAR Colonel Josiah Smith Outstanding Junior with a Proclamation for this honor.

Suffolk County Legislator Robert Calarco presented Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR) Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter Outstanding Junior Heidi Nathan-Barry with a Proclamation for this honor on Thursday October 26th. Heidi is the Chaplain for Col. Josiah Smith Chapter as well as the Junior Chair. She is also the Treasurer for the Children of the American Revolution Captain Austin Roe Society. These organizations promote support for Active Service Members, Veterans, Community, family. The motto is God, Home, Country. Heidi has actively participated in food and personal product collection for The Veteran's Place in Yaphank, The Veteran's Home in Stony Brook, and adopt a Platoon for overseas deployed Military Platoons. Community collections include school supplies for the Patchogue-Medford Youth and Community Services. DAR is a volunteer organization for women who are directly descended from Revolutionary War Patriots.
