DAR Colonial Ladies at Ketcham Inn Fair

The Ketcham Inn Fair

The Ketcham Inn Fair in Center Moriches this past weekend offered many activities for children and adults alike! There was colonial rope making, candle making instruction. Diane, the colonial cook, made chicken over a wood fire as well as a dish of yams for tasting for all who attended. The Barn with books was open with so many good books for sale. The Ketcham Inn Foundation was established in 1989 and has a mission to restore the Terry-Ketcham Inn which was a former stagecoach stop between Manhattan and Sag Harbor during the 18th and 19th century as well as a social and meeting center for these times. Today it exists as a well established living History Museum and Cultural Center for the education of American heritage. The Daughter's of the American Revolution Colonial ladies offered a tour of the Tavern room. Please see the top picture of Rhonda Kearns (left) and Mary Dykman (right). Also, see the picture of Rhonda Kearns and Joan Nathan. All are invited to call the Ketcham Inn for a personal tour at 631-878-1855.
