DAR Elves at Longwood Estate decorate tree

Col.Josiah Smith Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) ladies were busy as elves as they decorated the tree in the parlor of Longwood Estate in Ridge. Santa will visit on Saturday December 1st- bring your children! This historic home from the Revolutionary War days is a hidden country gem. The DAR ladies are descendants of Revolutionary War patriots. There are women patriots too! Not all patriots fought as a soldier or officer. Some provided goods. Some paid taxes. All contributed to the forming of the United States of America. Do you think you may be a descendant too? Today we work to support God, Home, and Country. We support our local community.
