DAR "Scrapbook Day" Charity Event

Community crafters of scrapbooks, cards, paper crafts, beading projects, and other crafts can participate in this worthy cause.

Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter NSDAR invites community crafters to join us for "Scrapbook Day" on Saturday, April 22nd, from 10 am – 10 pm at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1675 Coates Avenue, Holbrook. We'll be working on scrapbooks, cards, paper crafts, beading projects, and other craft projects in a fun and relaxing group setting. Proceeds from this event will be donated to The Veterans' Place shelter in Yaphank, NY.

The $40 registration fee includes:

  • 4 feet of cropping space
  • Light breakfast
  • Snacks, coffee, & tea throughout the day
  • Dinner
  • Door prize ticket
  • Grand Prize ticket
  • Welcome bag
  • Use of Cricut Expression (BYO mat & cartridges)

  • Seating is limited to 35 croppers
  • Registrants can buy additional door prize tickets or earn them (1 free ticket for every 3 Food Pantry items brought to benefit the St. John’s Food Pantry & 1 free ticket for every regular-size snack-to-share (full size bag of candy, pretzels, cookies, etc.)
