'Driven to Distraction' Photography Exhibit at Briarcliffe College, Bethpage Campus

Photography Work by Andrea M Gordon, Photographer, at Briarcliffe College, Bethpage Campus

Briarcliffe College, Bethpage currently has a wonderful exhibition of photography by Andrea M. Gordon. The exhibition runs August 12, 205 thru September 30, 2015 at the Bethpage Campus located at 1055 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage NY 11714.

Andrea M. Gordon, Licensed Massage Therapist/Photographer has owned Universal Touch Professional Massage for the past 25 years and started her Photography journey with her opening exhibit in Northport, New York “Art Amongst Friends” in November 2009. She has progressed quickly and has been in numerous solo exhibits over the years, as well as, being accepted into many juried competitions. Andrea has received Honorable Mentions for her work and continues to demonstrate one of her purchaser’s comments “you take the ordinary and make it extraordinary” with every image she patiently finds and freezes in time with her camera. She feels extremely blessed to have found two passions in her life that fill her soul. Her photography fills her being and inspires a dance between her eyes and hands and allows for an opportunity to capture visual and sensory memories forever. “ My eyes see the world and with a stroke of my camera I can freeze a moment in time and captures what it evokes from both a sensory and visual perception, forever.” And this gives her great joy.....to share these “moments of life” with whoever wants to join her. Throughout her Massage Therapy career her hands have become her “ears” and “eyes” and they continue to touch the world with the images she delights in sharing with the world. Her Photography Journey continues to be the birth of a dream and the memory of someone special.
