Emanuel Honors Veterans

Patchogue, NY – On Wednesday, November 8, 2017, Emanuel Lutheran School conducted the weekly chapel in honor of all Veterans. The school students and staff gathered to thank those who have served in the nation's armed forces. Nancy Barrett, church member, friend of Emanuel and member of VFW Post 2913 of Patchogue, conducted Chapel and organized the luncheon for the students, staff, veterans and visitors. Veterans from AmVets post 111, Patchogue and American Legion Post 269, Patchogue visited Emanuel as well as those veterans who are family member of our Emanuel students and staff.

After chapel, Emanuel showed their appreciation to the veteran’s with The Annual Veteran’s Luncheon to show appreciation to our veterans. We can never repay the sacrifices made by both the Veterans and their families; we offer them our sincere gratitude and continued prayers.
