ABOUT BOATING SAFELY course. This is a vital course for any boater that covers boat handling, trailering, navigation rules, VHF radio, and safe boating practices. Successful completion of this course satisfies NYS education requirements for Personal Watercraft (jet ski) operation and may qualify for boating insurance discounts. Two day course to be held on Saturday, March 31 and April 7 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Patchogue Ambulance Company, 336 West Main St., Patchogue. Course cost: $45.00 for the first person registered, $20.00 additional for second person registered, $10.00 additional for each child under 18 years old registered.
