Synopsis
The story follows the small town of Grover's Corners through three acts:
"The Daily Life", "Love and Marriage," and "Death and Eternity." Narrated by
the Stage Manager, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their
children fall in love, marry, and eventually-in one of the most famous
scenes in the American theater- die. Touching on universal truths and
feelings Wilder's classic play Our Town deservedly won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1938, and it has been claimed that not a day goes by that it is not performed somewhere in the United States.
