Fred Langstaff was born in Seattle, Washington. Shortly afterward his family returned to their native Long Island where he currently resides. Besides enlisting in the service for the Gulf War and a brief time living and working in NYC, Fred has spent his entire life on Long Island.
Never satisfied with mainstream ideas or techniques he is always pushing the boundaries of conventional photography.
His unique eye and unconventional approach give his photos an unmistakable style that is all their own.
