1 Taken To Hospital For Burn After Fire At Abandoned Property In North Bellport: Police
UPDATE: Arson Squad detectives are investigating, Suffolk police say.
NORTH BELLPORT, NY — A man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk for treatment of a burn to his hand after a fire started inside of a structure on an abandoned property in North Bellport on Tuesday morning, Suffolk police said.
Officers were called to the scene of the fire in the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue just before 7 a.m., according to police.
Arson Squad detectives are investigating, police said.

A fire that broke out at a home on Carman Street in Patchogue on Sunday afternoon is also being investigated, Suffolk police said.
