Grammy Award-Winning Robert Cray Band To Perform On Long Island

It's the first tour the U.S. since the 2020 release of his album, "That's What I Heard."

PATCHOGUE, NY — The Grammy Award-winning Robert Cray is set to take the stage at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts with his band, The Robert Cray Band, in February.

The performance will be part of the first tour in the U.S. since the 2020 release of his Grammy-nominated album, "That's What I Heard."

Cray, a five-time Grammy winner, has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and earned the Americana Music Awards Lifetime Achievement for Performance. He has produced 20 albums since 1974.

On his website, Cray describes his band as having a "unique groove born from a love of Soul, R&B, Gospel, Blues. and Rock n Roll."

He says that having had the opportunity to play with heroes like Albert Collins, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and the big stages with The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, and Eric Clapton "was more than we could have ever imagined," according to his website.

Tickets will run from $55 to $85.

They go on sale Friday.
