Grammy Award-Winning Singer Judy Collins To Perform On Long Island
She's looking back on her landmark 1967 album, "Wildflowers."

PATCHOGUE, NY — Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Judy Collins will take the stage of the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on April 29.
Collins, who has performed for six decades, is looking back on her landmark 1967 album, "Wildflowers" with "an exclusive series of shows bringing to full bloom her chamber-folk masterwork performing with a string section," theater officials said.
The 10-song "Wildflowers" is gold-certified, landing No. 5 on the Billboard pop albums charts, and it's Collins' highest-charting album. It is one of the first orchestral pop albums of the 60s, and a milestone entry in her career because it featured her first three original compositions, "Since You Asked," "Sky Fell," and "Albatross,” according to the theater.
