PATCHOGUE, NY — Grammy winning Celtic fiddler Eileen Ivers, founding member of Cherish the Ladies and musical star of "Riverdance," will perform traditional Irish and American holiday tunes at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Friday.

Ivers will let her Irish and American roots shine through in a "beautiful mix of traditional and story-filled songs" like "The Wren Song," as well as poems, and some "foot-stomping and hollerin’ roots music," according to the theatre's promo.

Ivers and her ensemble’s "plethora of instruments and voices weave throughout the evening," and "coupled with" her "signature warmth, inviting listeners in for a tuneful, soulful celebration capturing the true spirit and joy of the season," organizers said.
