Help Children in Need this Easter

Lighthouse Mission, Long Island’s LARGEST Mobile Food Outreach and Youth Development Center, will be collecting “Bible Baskets” to distribute to children in need this Easter.

What is a “Bible Basket”? It is an Easter Basket filled with candy, coloring books, stuffed animals, and a child-friendly Bible. These baskets are a fun way to celebrate the holiday and bless children from families that cannot afford such luxuries.

All donations received will go to help children from local homeless shelters and underprivileged homes across Suffolk County. “Bible Baskets” will be distributed to children who attend Lighthouse Mission’s “Mission Kids” program as well as families at our 9 weekly Mobile Food Outreach locations.

Last year we were able to bless more than 500 local children with Bible Baskets. We anticipate a similar need for Bible Baskets this year.

Donations are needed by March 26th, 2018 to ensure that we can get these baskets in the hands of local children in time for the holiday.
