Homeless Woman Arrested After Robbing Patchogue Bicyclist: Police
The 25-year-old woman was arrested soon after the robbery, police say.
PATCHOGUE, NY – A 25-year-old homeless woman robbed a man on a bicycle in Patchogue last Friday night, Suffolk Police told Patch.
According to police, Wendy Barone knocked a man off his bicycle, punched him and stole his money on Bay Avenue around 11:30 p.m.
The bicyclist was not injured. Barone was arrested on Saturday morning. She is charged with third degree robbery.
