MEDFORD, NY — A horse got loose in Medford and video showed the animal galloping through a residential neighborhood. Eric Allbright, of Medford, told Patch on Wednesday he was taking out the trash when he saw the horse running around his neighbors' lawns and through the street.

Video showed the horse near Maple Street and Jamaica Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

"My dad was taking out the trash and as I was getting ready to take mine out," Allbright wrote in a Twitter message. "He yelled to me to come downstairs and the horse was just on my neighbors lawn eating their grass."
